We are looking forward to the respective communities to port their Operating Systems — such as Ubuntu Touch, Lineage OS, Sailfish OS or /e/ — to Fairphone 3.
It would be cool if Linux could be ported to the Fairphone! This is an exciting time for FOSS on the phone, it really seems like we finally have professional, viable hardware for it.
I’m really hoping to be able to hold out on getting a new phone long enough that I’d be able to get a phone like this with linux instead of android. I’d especially love to get a fairphone, been looking at the first one for a while and The FairPhone 3 looks amazing.
