minus-square@lemmy_user_838586link1•4 months agoIf you’re running your Linux install from an ssd, you could probably just leave it enabled. Ssd’s are really, really fast at reads and indexing, vs mechanical hard drives, it doesn’t really add much overhead to an ssd.
