I hate how most people think you’re a right wing chud when you make fun of libs. When/why did liberal become perceived as far left? I’ve been meaning to do research on that.
One of the big changes was talk radio. They worked really hard to differentiate themselves from the people they were shit talking by referring to all of them as liberals all the time. The more progressive liberals co-opted it as they do with everything and now almost everyone thinks conservatives are distinct from liberals somehow.
The main difference now is one is smug, annoying, and deeply misinformed and the other foam at the mouth when they see public transportation or something.
In the US, liberal is perceived as ‘far-left’. Right wing people are liberals but they don’t know they are. I bet tons of people think communists are liberals here.
Yeah, i sometime visit r/TheRightCantMeme to remind myself that no matter how scummy libs are, there’s entire pit of utter delusional idiocy right beside them. Sadly, libs are sitting right in the said pit nowadays too.

Nice. The actor who had to be physically restrained from publicly attacking a native woman who pleaded for better treatment from the film industry.
Not to mention he died from radiation induced cancer, but i think that was ok with them because atom bomb tests are considered very patriotic in USA.
