CHINESE PEOPLE FEEL better democratically represented by their system of governance than citizens of any other nation feel about their own, a major
Imagine being so utterly ignorant that you think China is fascist. Absolute clown shit.
Imagine thinking it’s a democracy
Yeah, imagine that a country that consistently works in the interest of its people is a democracy. Clearly you couldn’t recognize democracy if it hit you in the face.
no, thats socialism not democracy lol.
Heres the wiki definiton for democracy:
Heres the wiki definition for fascism:
The whole “forcible suppression of opposition” is kind of an important element which is clearly present in china, where there is no deliberation allowed.
Democracy is a government that works in the interest of the majority and is being held accountable by the majority. The government in China demonstrably functions in this way, and has been for a long time.
That’s just complete and utter nonsense that you believe based on the propaganda diet you consume. Again, this is demonstrably an idiotic thing to say. If no deliberation was allowed in China then its political system would be stagnant and inflexible the way western systems are.
Instead of making a clown of yourself here, why not spend some time to actually educate yourself on China?
no, when there are protests in china they roll out the tanks and kill people until the protests stop. deliberation in the democratic sense doesnt involve people dying.
Wait till you find out what western governments do to people when they protest. Being ignorant about a subject is not a flaw, nobody can know everything. However, holding strong opinions on a subject you’re utterly ignorant on makes one a fool.
Just because western governments mistreat protesters doesn’t mean executing dissenters is part of democracy.
Today the people of Taiwan are meeting with representatives from the US government. Chinas response is threatening nuclear war. Perhaps you can explain how deliberation is a part of this process?
Every government puts limits on dissent. Today, US is violating China’s territorial integrity by sending a top official to Taiwan. US has also spent billions on nurturing a separatist movement in Taiwan. If you think that Taiwan being dominated by US is what democracy looks like what else is there to tell you.
