    I would love to use something like this to talk to all of my friends, the only problem is that most of my friends and family do not want to deal with keys.

      I’m all about matrix / riot. Its basically the future of comms: federated, e2ee, self-hostable, apps for every platform, and its getting better every day.

        I love Matrix too! When I have time (won’t happen) I will set up bridges to all the other chat apps I need to be part of.

      It’s the same for me ^^ people don’t seem to want to get out of Whatsapp unfortunately.

        Some people have a hard time getting on whatsapp! I think if you cant figure that out you should just be left behind.
