Gonna make a Christmas gift and maybe get stuff with the Holiday sales.

That being said: hooo boy, I got a full plate.

I’m:

  1. Trying to do university

  2. Trying to read for my communist BookTube channel and do reviews on books.

  3. Learning another language.

  4. Helping out at ProleWiki or at least hoping to get back to it.

  5. Trying to do research for my novel.

  6. And doing a nonfiction labor history book.

^ Of course, it’s not like I’m doing all of these at any one time, but I need some help prioritizing a bit. What should I research next? What books or articles or studies should I look into? Anyways, I think that I need some pointers.

Also, if you simply want to suggest a particular topic, go ahead. It doesn’t have to be what I’m interested in down below.

As for what I’m interested in:

-Organizing and social work (I want to one day start a mutual aid organization of some sort)

-Writing (looking for books on writing and the craft of writing)

-Psychology (anything on Soviet scientists like Vygotsky would be nice)

-Africa (and not another “read about Sankara” suggestion, but more info on Amilcar Cabral, Patrice Lumumba, the country of Angola, maybe a book about Robert Mugabe during his “better years,” etc.; basically, all African leaders, not just Sankara)

-Class and labor history; could also include books about tricks, tips, tools, and tactics of the trade. But yes, labor history would be nice.

-AES (Vietnam, China, Laos, DPRK, Cuba, and I guess the other countries that have big communist movements but aren’t necessarily in full consolidation of power, such as Nepal)

-Other (basically, get creative with your suggestions)

Anyways, I’m compiling of list of potential stuff I’ll get for Christmas, especially during the Holiday sales, so maybe I’ll post it down below soon to give all of you a better idea of what I’m looking for.

Aside from that: what info are you all trying to look into? Any books, websites, things you’re involved in, that you’re trying to do or find out more about?

  • For writing Random House Handbook, its more oriented toward academic writing grammar, punctuation etc, it cost like a dollar when I got it long ago for a class, so the price was right. It’s a good reference book to have on hand.
