Better, in my opinion. Torrenting is annoying when it comes to music, I find. Soulseek is so easy in terms of searching for individual songs, albums, etc. and specifying things like bitrate and so on. It’s proprietary but I’ve yet to see an open-source equivalent that comes even remotely close to it.
May I interest you in SoulSeek? Best way to get those sweet, pure FLAC files (or high quality MP3s).
