I already frowned and squinted my eyes before I knew the details of the show or the belief system of the Falun Gong, other than them being banned in China and their headquarters being in the US.
No way would a genuine PRC culture be allowed in the Netherlands, let alone the US.
Isn’t it basically conservative propaganda? Admittedly I haven’t cared enough to do much research on it, but I vaguely remember reading that it was just celebrating how ‘great’ China was before the revolution. I’m sure about this much, though: the timing is suspicious.
Now that I know the details behind these shows I always roll my eyes when I see a billboard for it.
