Same for me! Many technical sublemmys are springing up and the german reddit community has partially moved here, so I often feel right at home. I hope this momentum is enough to get a steady and long-term stream of content and community going.
Every time I interact here on lemmy, it feels much more welcoming than on reddit and it makes it very easy for me to help the general effort!
I’ve felt the same way! Everyone I’ve interacted with so far has been friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Much less snark and pretentiousness than I experienced over on that other site.
