In my opinion Ironsworn is the gold standard and complete package. I’ve really enjoyed it the past couple of years.

I have used Obsidian Notes. It’s flexible enough for everything in my opinion.

Definitely an excellent way to introduce someone into solo!

Dabbled with it the other day, it feels like a very watered down versiom of mythic gme with some simple ways of doing things. Not bad by any means but not exactly what I was expecting.

I find it worth it. I can understand why some wouldn’t want to combine VPN service with email though.

You could run Ironsworn with Iron Journal no problem. Ironsworn is a free basic rulebook download which is perfect for running a game just on mobile.
