I joined an autistm support group and one of the other participants signed up for a medical trial to ‘cure’ or rather, lessen the effects of autism(something about a zap to rewires the brain done over a few weeks). We talked about the ethics of it for a bit but did end up agreeing that sometimes, being autistic sucks and it’s alienating. To wake up one day, neurotypical and able to pick up on social cues or maintain friendships would be so freeing.

I personally have accepted that my autism is as much of me as my soul so I’m not interested in a ‘cure’, but talking over the woes with other autistic people and hearing relief even at the chance to have it taken away, really changed my worldview.

Side note, we also talked about what a ‘cure’ would even mean because at what point does our being start and our autism end? I’m still skeptic but I hope things work out for that person.

I picked up a PC version of stardew valley so I can restart with mods and I’m obsessed(again)

This is very helpful thank you. I feel more level headed when I’m consuming theory, I just also feel theory alone can’t save us. But I like the idea of learning a new skill during rest.

On one hand, I don’t think every MAGA chud is fascist and we could probably convert some. At the same time, it’s foolish to focus on uniting marxist and maga when one side has had(and has) some form of mainstream power(political, social, etc.) and the other has been brutally suppressed and misjudged for nearly 100 years. It just looks like dick ridding because maga is the next “big” thing and Hinkle wants in too.

If exercise was taught as something to make you mentally feel better and be stronger instead of be fit/look good/be skinny, we’d have a lot more physically active people. The former is easier to measure after each session instead of the time it takes to lose weight and look fit.

I like this. But a way more simple and inexpensive method is to fill a bucket with water, get your soap, wash and scrub with that then wash off in the shower.

For fiction I’m reading classroom of the elite. So far I did a rewatch of some of the anime, and I like the light novel wsu better. For non fiction, I’ve been reading Story Mode: the interplay between console and culture. Taking a break from politics and getting back into culture

I read a thread about this that got capitalist in a tizzy. They said the fault is on regulation for shutting down the factory. Capitalist are a danger to humanity
