I wish he was chinamaxxing, but I know he’s got libertarian brainworms

is there only one copy of the book on AA? Sometimes there’s multiple uploads/formats. Have you tried the external downloads towards the bottom of the page? They’ll point you towards something like libgen, which might have the uncorrupted file. There is also the torrent option (you need a bt client that allows you to select 1 file from a much larger archive torrent)

Gracias, El Niño.
It goes to show how chaotic global warming is/will be. We were told that the east coast would get more hurricanes and warmer winters. Those predictions have proven true. But now we also get polar vortices and unusually low-activity/late hurricane seasons (probably thanks to el niño). These events then overshadow the slower steady warming (which is actually lightning-fast compared to other climate changes humans have lived through).

He’s posting the burgerreich manifesto

I think that website is just very old, so they made everything as images instead of trying to get chinese characters rendering on early browsers.
How does this show up? 典

You can’t give a history of online piracy and just entirely skip over music/limewire.
Pirating music was very popular for the short period where limewire could be used without fear. Then corporations started suing the shit out of normal people. Then apple opened the iTunes store, and pirating music became more niche again. No more burned cds from tracks discovered on limewire, but playlists with paid-for music on an iPod

The EU replaced coal with natural gas, which has been a geopolitical disaster
I think reporting solar “capacity” is a little confusing or deceptive. But this is still an important milestone, and it’s a real figure.

Consumption and capacity are not the same thing. I agree that reporting on solar “capacity” is a little confusing/deceptive, but this is still an important milestone.
This is so cool, but it probably has to be really far from air traffic. I imagine a bunch of these like 100 miles off the coast, providing electricity to a desalination plant and hydrogen generator on the coast

Also pushing LNG as a “clean” alternative to coal. Or a “bridge” to renewables.
