I really like this idea of coil.com, supporting creators based on how often you engage with their content, but don’t really like the cryptocurrency and the closed source aspect. Flattr seems better but is still closed source. Is there anything I can use to fund my website?

      What do you do with this currency? Who accepts it to convert to euros? In this regard, even Faircoin sounds like a safer bet as it’s backed by local communities in many places.

        You don’t need to convert it to Euros. Faircoin has suck for this reason. Libre currency, G1, is created to be used, not to be speculated or even for savings. You can use it here: Girala
