    I would put rust onto the table, programmers always seem to fawn over it whenever it is brought up.

      I mean, I’ve seen some people get annoyed by it, because it is so highly praised, yet obviously can’t do every job in the most optimal way. But yeah, I guess, they rather hate the Rust Evangelism Strike Force™ than the language itself.

    Clojure and Lisp users are generally happy. I’ve been using Clojure for around a decade, and I still experience joy working with the language. For me, it’s a combination of having an interactive workflow where I can see results as soon as I make changes coupled with having a simple and consistent language that allows me to focus on the problem I’m solving without thinking about language quirks.
