        It’s centralized and not open source afaik. It’s basically discord 2.0.

        IMO the easiest thing to do is to bridge the discord to matrix. Then ppl can stay on discord if they prefer.

          Would proton/tutanota with exclusively PGP encryption solve the issue? Never been burned by pgp I can promise you
