And before any capitalists argue that it was the government that did it so it wasn’t free market, consider that the broader international community has virtually no oversight, so it’s the closest thing to true libertarianism we have.
And of course, in a capitalist state, the government itself is just an administrative body for resolving conflict between capitalists. The government represents the interests of the capitalist class, so there isn’t any fundamental difference between individual capitalists taking action themselves or delegating it to the government.
Capitalist government is a company that only answers to companies.
