Necromancers just can’t leave well enough alone.

The real question, though, is how does a 2 year old thread make it into the “hot” feed.

I’m just as baffled that I had to comment myself. It’s like a thread bump from a forum. Just fascinating but makes sense when lemmy was even smaller than it is now.

I think one of the issues is that Lemmy still doesn’t have that much content, so in smaller communities you can even get old posts like this in the first page of the “new” feed. That, and some of the algorithms seem like they still need a bit of tuning. I’ve definitely come close to necro’ing a week old posts or two myself.

I suppose, but isn’t it enough to see the boys hanging out and running around? Must we always have a plot to follow?

(Haha I’m just incredibly not picky when it comes to art, so as long as there is something good I’ll enjoy, I know this isn’t the case for everyone tho)

Shit take. You are certainly allowed to like what you like, and I’ll never tell you not to. But dont sit there and tell me that what I like is bad because its not what you like. I actively dont want a plot. The plot nearly always impedes the thing that I do want. I want to see the characters having cute, funny, and entertaining interactions with each other. When there is a plot that always needs to be driven, you lose a lot of the more casual interactions because they are busy with more serious situations.
