I love it! Any chance you could link your dotfiles?
When I get things a little more ironed out, and get the dots better commented, I will upload them to sourcehut.
how do you like foot term? I am currently on alacritty, but considering something else potentially
I like it. I do miss image previews in the terminal, but that is X11 with ueberzug and not Wayland, and I am trying to limit my use of Xwayland as much as possible, so I just use imv instead. The one problem I have encountered is with Public Access Unix machines like SDF, envs.net, and the rest of the tilde-verse. Most of those servers are running older flavors of debian, or BSD, and none of them so far have had terminfo for foot. I extracted the terminfo files for foot, and pushed them to a git repo, and have been emailing them asking politely if they would consider adding the terminfo files, so foot term will operate correctly. Envs.net did it the same day, we will see about the rest. By the time people start using it more, I hope I will have gotten to them all. :P

It is my favorite distribution so far. And Ive tried many over the last decade. It feels like a hybrid between OpenBSD and linux. In fact many of the OpenBSD tools have been ported over. Including doas, which is much better than sudo IMO. It is a rolling release, but its a stable rolling release unlike arch, meaning they spend more time making sure things work before pushing updates. It doesnt use systemd, and is just a much more simple, and stable system than Ive used up till this point. Once you learn how things work, you could probably go for years without a major upgrade because of the rolling release model. I dont know how things are with larger desktop environments, as I have only ever used dwm, and sway, but for that kind of setup, I love it.
