What brand of ‘cynicism’ are we talking about though? Is it the type of Nietzscheist/Zizekist reactionary cynicism where humans don’t matter and we shouldn’t try to improve society, or is it the type where we are done with Capitalism? (you claimed that this is better for their view of reality as a whole, which is demonstrably false as there has never been a ‘Nietzscheist/Zizekist-Communist’ revolution in the history of this species). If it is the former, it will kill the movement as a whole, as they will be too demoralized by their own ideology to do anything about their suffering.
By cynical, i mean that they do not believe bourgeois politicians are merely incompetent, and are in fact actively malicious actors. They do not believe there is justification for the wars. They understand that the bourgeois establishment carries out false flag operations and is willing to kill its own people. Among Americans it is still taboo to believe things like this
