Never heard of this blog! Guess I’ll check it out.
I’ve been finding that the analysis of current events by a lot of UK (I think this blog is UK-based, based on the content) leftists and dissidents is very different, and generally much bolder in its rejection of capitalist narratives, than what I see from US-based activists. They seem to be much more cynical about their government and corporate media than Americans, which I think is very healthy as it allows them to have a much more honest perspective about the reality of liberal capitalist society, and reality in general. Unlike in the US, where the social engineering effort to stigmatize dissident thought has effectively castrated the left, who today have nothing to say about the problems with the official narratives regarding key events like 9/11, Brits do not seem willing to allow the fear of being called a “conspiracy theorist” silence them. Consequently, there are many crucially important topics being covered by Brits that have been left mostly ignored by the American left, so it’s pretty fascinating to read what they have to say.

What brand of ‘cynicism’ are we talking about though? Is it the type of Nietzscheist/Zizekist reactionary cynicism where humans don’t matter and we shouldn’t try to improve society, or is it the type where we are done with Capitalism? (you claimed that this is better for their view of reality as a whole, which is demonstrably false as there has never been a ‘Nietzscheist/Zizekist-Communist’ revolution in the history of this species). If it is the former, it will kill the movement as a whole, as they will be too demoralized by their own ideology to do anything about their suffering.
By cynical, i mean that they do not believe bourgeois politicians are merely incompetent, and are in fact actively malicious actors. They do not believe there is justification for the wars. They understand that the bourgeois establishment carries out false flag operations and is willing to kill its own people. Among Americans it is still taboo to believe things like this

I would say that one should probably be a bit careful with some of them, but I agree with the overall gist of what you’re getting at; we need to actually question the narrative at the source and not just question only a part or a bit of it.
