Whatever you say, but I don’t think I’ve personally attacked you and any other from Lemmy, I’ve simply expressed my concern about the worldwide advancement of fascist parties and youth who think it’s cool to be on the left, instead of be active, militating in a party, participating in politics. Be informed and boycott products of exploitative companies. I also think that self-criticism is important, with a left divided by small ideological differences, a problem that the cavemen of the ultra-right never had. If these concerns, confirmed daily by political events, have me called a dumbass, if I haven’t insulted anyone who hasn’t been recognized in the description, maybe I am. Sacred cows no longer exist for me and sometimes I wish that my predictions of the future do not come true, as they usually do. Really comrade.

You may not have insulted anyone from lemmy but you’ve insulted a random Internet stranger that you have never met and know nothing about. If that isn’t a problem to you, I don’t know what to say. There’s not some magic rule where it’s only insulting if the person in question is present.

In fact, sharing this person’s image specifically to insult them without their knowledge and consent is way creepier and shittier behaviour

Little is seen of this person to recognize him personally with the mask on, it is the generic descriptive portrait that describes a real problem, it could equally have been a caricature or the simple description- Those who do not recognize their own behavior in this, should not feel insulted at all and those who do recognize themselves, perhaps make them reflect that ideology cannot be a mere fashion behind a screen.

You want other people to do self-reflection here, but maybe you should give it a whirl and really try to think about what has been said in this thread. There’s nothing normal about spreading a photo of a real person who you do not know and tagging it with jokey insults about how they live their life (which, again, you know nothing about and are merely projecting your own assumptions on to)

Are you being purposefully obtuse? Or do you still not see that the argument I am making is that you are not, in fact, “criticizing communists,” you are criticizing this one person you have never met and spreading their photo without consent in order to make them the butt of a joke.

It seems that you know who this person is to accuse me of exposing someone, but I see that I have put up a ‘Muhammad cartoon’ for certain people in this subforum. I only know that with so much ‘tolerance and understanding’ if constructive criticism is attempted through a meme, pointing to the failures of the left, I have stumbled upon something that is precisely the error, causing the right to continue to gain ground while the left loses in debates without the slightest attempt to analyze where their own behavior fails. Good luck to you, comrades, looking at the finger that points to the Moon, while governments and the streets are filled with people with the Nazi salute.
