Wow, I was just thinking of this the other day. The problem here is that merikkkans genocided the dick out of Native Americans, so I don’t know how they’re gonna populate that now…
As far as I know, most Indigenous people don’t want a complete Indigenous ethnostate, decolonisation and land back generally doesn’t mean kicking everyone else out of everywhere, but rather giving the Indigenous population proper control and representation.
I was more or less leading to the fact that all ethnoses of Native Americans put together add up to something like population of my city, so it would be nice to also figure out a way to save them from extinction so that we don’t have a “Sioux Republic” or something full of Brits who didn’t care to preserve the culture on our hands after a couple generations.
Anyway, whatever, I’m not usually into alternative history and US of F isn’t collapsing or anything quite yet. As a matter of fact, I’m pretty sure none of us will see that in our lifetime even if they’re on their way out as the hegemon. Just screaming into the universe.
This seems to be the case with the Aboriginal people of Australia too…
