Wistleblowing is sadly not a recognised status in the US, so this is not a possibility atm, and telling out state secrets is still a crime. However, I do believe and hope that he will be remembered as a hero. On the other side (of the Atlantic) here on the EU we have approved the wistleblower directive, so I hope the next Snowden has things more easy for them
