So they want to create an intranet… just like what the PRC created? You know, I have a feeling that the USA is going to imitate a lot of PRC policies, just because they’re so effective. I bet when the 2020 election comes and the Republican Party gets wiped, the USA will become a 1.5-party state under the Democrats.
I think there’s a pretty good chance Republicans will win. I also predict that whichever party loses is going to call the election illegitimate, and potentially incite civil unrest. The Democrats spent four years promoting the idea of Russiagate which delegitimizes the electoral system, and now a lot of people lost confidence in it. Once people stop believing that elections are fair that tends to lead to civil unrest and uprisings.
Both the Republicans and the Democrats have painted themselves into a corner now. If either party wins it’s going to be career ending for the other side, and that means they have nothing to lose by denouncing the election. US is turning into a banana republic.
