This is a great list, I wish I had this when I was de-googling my life. While a lot of these alternatives are pretty decent at this point the one the really got me was youtube, nothing really comes close. I ended up settling on a script which wraps

Does anyone get what the “eyes” mean? Does it mean that the service is hosted in country from the *-eyes or that the *-eyes countries can spy on you if you use the service?

Countries cannot spy on their own citizens, so other countries spy on their citizens for them and then they exchange information
