Do you use controllers with PC or are you strictly using mouse and keyboard?

I have:

  • 8bitdo SN30 Pro (changed the buttons to ones found in Super Famicom)
  • 2 GameCube controllers
  • 1 Pair of Joy-Cons
  • DualShock 3
  • Wii U Gamepad

I bought DS3 nearly a decade ago and used it 5-6 years with PC. Setting it up is annoying as it requires a special software and drivers to be used wirelessly. The last few years I have used 8bitdo’s SN30 Pro which works with both PC and Switch. I love the controller’s retro design.

    8bitdo SN30 Pro+

It is basically the ultimate controller:

    • PC and Switch
    • charge it via USB-C or replace the battery
    • customize rumble and buttons (the software is only available for Windows and macOS, though)
    • Bluetooth or wired
    • you can take it apart (I might need to do that because the jump button gets stuck sometimes)

But honestly, Joy-Cons are not that bad.

Do you use controllers with PC or are you strictly using mouse and keyboard?

My laptop gets hot while gaming so I am forced to use an external keyboard or a controller.

Unpopular opinion - my favorite controller is the Steam Controller by far. I’ve used controllers for the Wii, Wii U, Switch, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and the Logitech PC controller, but the Steam controller just feels the best to me.

At this moment I only can play using my phone 😔

But the snes control seems like the best for 2d games.
