    lol, for a second I thought that the development of linux kernel is stopped…

      From what I understand it still has a long road to be ready for the avarage GNU/Linux user. (Please correct me if I’m wrong)

      1. Mostly older hardware.
      2. No SMP support yet (so support for only 1 core).
      3. No 64bit yet.

      But it’s nice to see that GNU/Hurd is getting some attention, since the GNU/Linux kernel is getting bloated more and more.

    As a plebeian, help me out here. Is this going to impact the average Linux user? Are any of our package managers dependent on Guix, or does this have zero impact on us?
