Oooo yeah I’ve had that, not online but in real life. I studied Japanese at uni for a smidge and they had an entire lecture series dedicated to the unjust use of the bomb which was so interesting and eye opening given my political persuasion at the time (neolib). That and anthropology really kick started my journey into progressive thought and eventually socialist theory.

a few years ago a dude made a subreddit for his friends with the well known “rule” to post before leaving, after 5 years the sub got too big to manage and was closed, other people wanted to repeat that experience and so theres r/196 r/691 r/19846 so on and so forthhmm… interesting, sounds plausible, thanks
