I just learned recently that the Vatican is basically an independent country ran as an absolute monarchy, I’m sure they’d love to expand it lol. Not to mention their banking system is shady as fuck with a ton of money laundering to the tune of tens of millions. Not exactly a beacon of anti-capitalism.
By the government system, it’s one of the six remaining absolute monarchies in the world. And the only one which is basically seat of international crime organization.
