“hey why is there so many neo-nazis, fascist and trump supporters at this anti-china rally”
-liberals proberly-
“These are some very fine folks”
- liberals in the near future
Also in the near past
“hey, why are there so many neo-nazis, fascists, and white nationalists at this Ukraine rally?”
- Liberals, actually
Oh my god, neo-nazis, fascists, and white nationalists were good all along! I was mistaken to think they were bad!
- liberals, really
And at anti-Cuba protests as well
Had someone post this unironically on a sub I’m on. When I called them out they threatened to ban me, then they got dogpiled because its not a politically focused sub so people got double pissed at the mod for bringing up politics then threatening to ban a dissenting opinion (its a pretty neat sub with a weirdly high amount of communists for not being targeted at leftists in any way).
For some weird reason I start seeing communist pop up in the weirdest subreddits. It’s alsmost as if financially crippling an enitre generation without showing some form of improvement tends to radicalize people. Unfortunately this works both ways and you’d also have to take in to account that Reddit is not a realistic reflection of society as a whole. But there is hope.
Yeah, its always fun to see communists in the wild as when you both reconize each other as communists there is a nice comradery. Really makes you ready to keep up the fight.
I found 2 MLs on a disney cartoon sub lmao
I think ive heard about this sub, is about an game right?
The sub I’m talking about? No. Although I am in a game sub but politics never comes up on it.
It’s only logical that a meme subcommunity that repetitively equates us with fascists would forget that there are actual neofascists in its ranks.
If they bothered to try seriously researching history (e.g. Christopher Simpson’s excellent Blowback) for once, they wouldn’t be surprised either. (And no, ECS, skimming Wikipedia articles doesn’t count as serious research, before you try to correct me. Believe me, it doesn’t count. Reading dozens of history books is one thing, skimming a few mediocre and unimpressive encyclopaedia articles is another.)

If you ever find yourself in the same ideological group as fascists, maybe that’s a sign you should leave.
My thoughts when I was liberal lmao
