We already see that they’re just slightly better than the west since they’re also taking advantage of weak labour and environmental laws along with massive corruption to make massive profits but at the very least there is some infrastructure being built and there is some transfer of knowledge happening in a few companies. They’ve promised that they will allow more entries of African goods tariff free into their economy in this decade so we’ll have to wait and see how that one plays out.
