    In all honesty, this is what I thought of when it hit the news. Look! Inflation!

    This makes no sense, you can’t just raise prices and make more money.

      The point is that they’re using inflation as a cover to increase the prices of products beyond what would be needed to equalize the value after inflation, meaning they’ll be making more money overall after the increase.
