minus-square☆ Yσɠƚԋσʂ ☆OPlinkfedilinkarrow-up3arrow-down1·2 years agoThat’s been my strategy as well. I find I have enough energy early in the day, but it’s nice to get a boost in the afternoon.
minus-squareSoviet Snake@lemmygrad.mllinkfedilinkarrow-up1·2 years agoWhat would be a good time to drink coffee then? What time do you drink it?
minus-square☆ Yσɠƚԋσʂ ☆OPlinkfedilinkarrow-up4arrow-down1·2 years agoI like to have coffee around 13-14 o’clock, I find it gives me enough boost for the rest of the day.
minus-squareSoviet Snake@lemmygrad.mllinkfedilinkarrow-up2·2 years agoAh, nice, I’ve tried this today after 2 days of not drinking coffee (I was feeling super trashed) and I felt pretty neat.
minus-squareJustEnoughDuckslinkfedilinkarrow-up2·2 years agoThere was some studies about timing of coffee and your body already needs like an hour or two to “wake up” before coffee to avoid a crash. I’d have to dig it up again, but I have just been drinking coffee a few hours after I wake up around 9 or 10 and have gotten no crashes really!
minus-squarem016@lemmy.calinkfedilinkarrow-up2·2 years agoI don’t think I’ve ever had a coffee crash but I definitely tend to be a mid to late morning coffee drinker. It’s never really been intentional. I just enjoy the ritual of drinking coffee so I leave it until after my morning obligations.
