In August, we traveled to Brazil to learn how to improve Tails for the many people fighting for social change there. We trained 34 people on Tails: activists, journalists, feminists, and human rights defenders.
That’s an awesome alternative from Tails! Brazilians need to be better educated on privacy and FOSS in general, I can’t put into words how frustrating it is that, while Mastodon has been having a surge from users all over the globe, Brazilians instead flocked to some thing I never heard before called “Koo”.
Reason for that choice you ask? The name sounds like a Brazilian slang for " butthole"…
