It can literally be anything so long as it isn’t owned by a major corporation (think: Microsoft levels of big).
Otherwise, I’m fine with it.

kdenlive is great and really easy to use, you can learn it in a day.
I have to second Kdenlive. It isn’t the most stable, but really what is in the video editing department. It is a wonderful program that is easy to learn and use, while still being quite productive and capable. Plus it is open source so it is secure and community developed.
That’s the one that Bilibili users use, right?
Not sure, but somehow its even easier than most audio editing programs I’ve used. Plus as @sparkingcircuit@lemmygrad.ml said, its open-source.
