    This was nothing but Putin trying to look “generous”. Germany showed good self control declining an offer to resume its previous addiction.

        Yes, they should let their people pay exorbitant prices for heating or freeze, because it’s the right thing to do.

        An addiction that has turned out to be a massive liability, as the US warned previously. Germany should avoid reversing course on getting itself off Russian fossil fuels.

          And instead buy fracking gas from United States which is about 4 times more expensive, and much worse for the environment. What a great plan.

      Yep. Germany has made some big mistakes, but not in 2022. Correcting previous mistakes is often painful.
