I recently discovered Tutanota email service and it seems like a great option for people worried about privacy but I don’t know how to be sure.

      Yeah, to me the client lock-in was too much. I think, they do it to offer end-to-end-encryption, but it’s not like any mails I receive are encrypted to begin with or that I could send someone an encrypted mail.
