minus-squareEpheralink2•4 years agoThe guy in the video is known for clickbait. Frankly, I wouldn’t have been surprised, if the video was actually about the Direct Rendering Manager, which is what’s usually meant when talking about “DRM” in the Linux kernel.

It seems he was talking about HDCP as mentioned in a reddit thread that can be found under: “DRM gets inside kernel” and here https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/intel-gfx/2017-November/148896.html pretty old news, but I am interested in further corporate devolution of their old open source campaign.
