So ironical of them, from pointing at Apple for being the bad one. Yes, this is pity of Apple of imposing this sort of monopoly, however, Epic Games are especially to blame here because not only the rules are the rules (What did you expect when you’ve published your apps on THEIR services), but also, from being a company partially Tencent owned, you far from calling someone ELSE from contributing to create a ¨1984¨ monopoly when the Chinese government are literally one of the most privacy and liberty offending regimes.

      the rules are the rules

Apple’s rules may be illegal. My take is that their App Store guidelines were were tolerable back in the days, but will be considered illegal / anticompetitive due to the relative market domination that iOS has gained.

I agree that Epic is not a likeable company though.

Yeah, I just can’t take any company seriously that makes a 1984-inspired commercial while simultaneously being 40% owned by Tencent, who are arguably one of the closest approximations of Big Brother we have today.

Did you forget about the Snowden leaks already? The US government is much worse than China if we go by facts and not by propaganda.

No, I agree. I’m not saying Tencent is Big Brother, I’m saying they’re one of several Big Brothers we have today. A Band of Big Brothers, if you will.
