I assume that just means WPA2 Enterprise? As long as you aren’t using the certificates for anything but authenticating the WiFi network, I don’t think that’s any worse security-wise

The main one for me is the smart autocomplete. It uses the command history and manpages to try to guess what command I want to run, and it’s often right.

(though the fact that you can’t turn it off is frustrating)

• My reading of the patent stuff is that the licenses that mention them disallow the authors from patenting the software, but I agree that that’s not super clear from the page itself
• Permissive is the established term for such a license, I don’t know what else you’d call it that isn’t offensive
