It’s possible to write good code in PHP, and I don’t doubt that many people do, but it’s difficult for beginners to figure out the right way to do things. It doesn’t help that many tutorials teach outdated, insecure ways of doing things.

@imgprojts @OptimusPrime It’s somewhat open source - the client “snapd” software that runs on your system is open-source, but the Snap Store server software isn’t AFAIK
