Hmm, I’d disagree on the wallpapers. Linux Mint has some pretty beautiful selections - every version has a different selection of nature, architecture, and abstract wallpapers, which I think are on par with the MacOS ones.

One exception to the no-Google phone rule: if you are using GrapheneOS, though obviously that is a lot more involved to install a whole new custom ROM.
