Hej guys. I have Pop OS installed on one of my linux desktops, and recently i have issues with my displays.
When i open the display settings ,both my screens are visualy but on off the screen will not start up. I have tried another screen and some new cables but its not working
My first instict would be to navigate around the system like you would install a window manager. Are you using Wayland are you using x11? Use tools links xrandr and wlr-randr. Are you using a AMD, Intel or Nvidia graphics card? Does the kernel support that graphics card?
Maybe try out a window manager to see if it is the GNOME window manager or if it is the distribution
Hej, this is difficult to troubleshoot from the information you shared. If you take a screenshot, you can copy/paste it into a Lemmy comment, perhaps posting screenshots would help describe the problem.
[ i know this may not be super helpful, but if popos is your first foray into linux, please do not judge the bountiful world of linux on the problems with that specific distro (popos) ]
I have nothing against Linux, I love it .
Its not easy to make screenshots of a screen that isnt working and on my primary screen i cant se that my othe screen isnt working.
I have never have any problems with my screens its from the last c
