I’m just incensed that the world at large couldn’t get a handle on this stupid virus within 6 months. It’s really turned me further inward, further into a cynic.
I guess the response at first was great, but then the following actions became weaker and weaker. I remember thinking for the first couple of months that I would never have thought our government could be this competent (they are idiots normally).
In conclusion I think that if disaster would ever strike even worse, the reaction could be quite good, but just for long. Once the economy is running again and people have some kind of normal we can’t expect much.
Yeah, the fact that vast majority of countries decided to run the pandemic run wild is just depressing. And as China clearly shows, it is absolutely possible to control this pandemic if there is a will to do it.
