if one lives in a large city, there isn’t much “industrial facilities”. Where I am from (Boston) the economy is based mostly on education and research. Cities around me are mostly finance and advertising.
I agree. People don’t realize how big and different the US is. I have been living in PR for the last couple years (still technically the US, i know) and people here have all these ideas of what that is, but is really very different depending on location within.
