I think they are ready, so long as the user doesn’t expect to have certain apps.
That can be a pretty big deal breaker, unfortunately. I’m blocked from using a Linux phone because my workplace has a VPN that relies on push notifications to a proprietary app. That alone has kept me from going with a Linux phone, unfortunately.

Why do you think this? The device is designed to be repairable and they sell parts so that you can do the repair.
Linux phones/software are not ready for mass adoption. I think Fairphone are trying to make it easy for Linux to run on their phones though.
