    Me: Buys a $200 SBC with a powerful CPU and gets all kinds of aspirations of what I can do with it

    Also me: Plugs it in, gets SSH working, and then promptly never finds the time to get it to start doing something complex.

    At the very least you could run useful network services on it (pi-hole ad blocking, a local NTP server, etc.)!

      I actually did use one of my Raspberry Pi(s). I have a small shop, and I used it to run a in-house developed Point of Sale system. It has been running for a year no problem. But I’m not using them as a hobby, even though I really want to mess with them.
