Goddamn it, capitalism just keeps opening up new legal forms of abuse to profit from, wtf is this? I would truly be a bit surprised but not entirely if it starts being implemented using some bullshit as a justification

You just know that rate of brain dead women would very conveniently skyrocket out of the blue if this bill passes.

Defiling corpses long enough to give birth would require a cocktail of drugs, hormones, treatments, etc to manage the various ailments/complications of the dying body, and therefore a whole ton of medical supervision.

I also highly doubt the hypothetical child would have good outcomes, in fact they wouldn’t get that far in development IRL, even with the best medical necromancy money can buy. Dying is taxing on a body, then compound the brutalities of pregnancy and its just not happening.

This is just an idle cruel thought suitable for a horror novel, not anything serious. Terrible that this person is an ‘expert’.

Josef Rudolf Mengele, also known as the Angel of Death, was a German Schutzstaffel (SS) officer and physician during World War II. He performed deadly experiments on prisoners at the Auschwitz II (Birkenau) concentration camp, where he was a member of the team of doctors who selected victims to be killed in the gas chambers,[a] and was one of the doctors who administered the gas. With Red Army troops sweeping through German-occupied Poland, Mengele was transferred 280 kilometres (170 mi) from Auschwitz to the Gross-Rosen concentration camp on 17 January 1945, ten days before the arrival of the Soviet forces at Auschwitz.

The author is a woman discussing the ethics of this idea in an ethics journal. This is a stupid clickbait, she didn’t recommend or suggest to actually do this

Wow that’s fucking Bene Tleilax grade shit.

And even they kept it strict secret because even in dehumanised Dune universe revealing it would ended in them getting rekt. It actually did ended in them and a lot of humanity getting rekt in book 5 after said women awaken, got incredibly pissed off and decided nothing short of nukes would be enough to avenge this grudge.

You know, I sometimes entertained the idea of some ethically-questionable medical innovations myself, but even I haven’t went this low.

    I mean…holy fuck, I have no words.
