This will end with the destruction of an entire culture and sets back peaceful discourse for generations. Not enough people with a voice weep for the suffering of the innocent, regardless of the perpetrator.

No need for peace talks if you exterminate the other side taps forehead - Israel probably.

It’s truly a shame to watch this play out. And no this doesn’t mean I support Hamas. I just also don’t support Israel.

I agree native Americans should have had the ability and freedom to fight against their colonizing oppressors, and I think the same applies for any other group, Palestinians included. Should that be through Hamas? I don’t know. It’s not really for me to judge. They’re being oppressed and murdered by a much more powerful force which is getting weapons and support from the most powerful nations in the world. They aren’t going to win a conventional battle. The only option is what Israel will always call terrorism. What restrictions should be applied isn’t really up for us to decide until we at least stop supporting the Zionists.

It’s hard to imagine how they can’t realize this is just leading to further radicalization. So much so I have to wonder if that’s either the goal or they simply don’t intend on leaving anyone left at the end of this.

It should be noted that ‘refugee camp’ is a somewhat misleading term. These are functionally cities that are located where temporary camps were originally located. As refugee status is inherited by Palestinians, these are communities of legal refugees and thus, strictly speaking, refugee camps, but the image is very much not what the term brings to mind.

This is not to downplay the tragedy of civilian casualties; just providing some context that people may not know.

What I’m seeing and what you’re describing is roughly what I would have expected. Did you think refugee camps are all tents or something?

The refugees have been there since 1948. There are apartments and several generations of kids. The headline misleadingly makes them sound like they were displaced this month.

Still tragic that civilians were killed.

Apparently it isn’t bad enough they are in refugee camps and they all have to die. This will never stop, it is so tragic.

As Israel continues their barbaric campaign of death they will lose all their allies on the left. The majority of the upcoming American generations (all progressively more left leaning) won’t support our key middle east partner any longer. Israel will be forced into the circles of auth right allies, further solidifying the fascistic ethnostate within. This really is Israels 9/11.

So sad that all the people in these threads claiming to want to defeat Hamas can’t understand that every second this continues their victory grows greater. There’s always time to stop this madness. There’s always time to step back from the abyss and help save Israel, but it needs to be your voices that help do it.

He probably meant save them from their genocidal government and it’s actions, but truthfully this nation has always been genocidal and it’s by design.

Sure. Do you think they are not worth saving? That was the point I was trying to make to people who support Israel. Do I seem unaware of who’s dropping the bombs?

… “won’t support our key middle east partner any longer” …

lol. They will forget. We are forgetting faster and faster… the new generations are also not caring more and more. And we need oil. Lot’s of oil.

It’s all going as planned. What these butchers (not just Israel, also US and EU) are doing to Palestine today will just be a footnote of a ‘war against terrorists’ in few years.

This genocide is no freak accident (weakened Israeli defense systems my ass). All our politicians hands and by proxy our hands are steeped in blood… and the Nazis are louder and louder in Europe again… cheered on and supported by the mighty american and british media and war machines. All running on oil.

The ones that will still be remembering won’t have any platform to be seen or to act upon…

Part of the “weakened Israeli defense systems” was Netanyahu redirecting people and assets from around Gaza to the West Bank to aid in the ethnic cleansing over there.

The entire plan was; “ignore Gaza and trust the magical iron dome system to be magic, but use the threat of Hamas to justify an ethnic cleansing where there is no real Hamas presence”.

Assuming Gaza’s numbers are accurate, yeah they’ve blown past about 8.5 times with 8.5k deaths.

Meh, their similar enough that up until 2019 Israel publicly funded Hamas to explicitly weaken the Palestinian government. Both sides want thier little far right ethnostate. The only distinction in their minds is which race gets it.

One has nukes. The other doesn’t have a standing military. They’re not “similar enough” at all.

The capacity to enforce thier ethnostate doesn’t seem like that much of a change when discussing thier idoligy. If Russia or Pakistan have Hamas a standing army and nukes tomorrow i doubt they would suddenly change thier stated end goals, simpley be capible of far more violence in furtherance of thouse goals.
