There’s also rehab centres that get people hooked on opioids to wean them off street drugs.
to be fair, administering opioids is a legitimate part of opioid rehabs… it’s important to know if they simply substituted their addiction from “street” narcotics to “pharmacology” narcotics, which would be insane…

could you provide some data on that? i know american healthcare and everything tangent to it is evil, but are rehabs actually deliberately getting people addicted to commercial opioids?
